What is DocUmemories?

DocUmemories is a custom-made documentary, starring your loved one!

You provide the memories…we’ll do the rest

We will work with the designated point of contact to establish a timeline of the subject’s life, which includes completing a DocUmemories questionnaire. From there, we will schedule and conduct interviews with all designated contacts to share the memories, anecdotes, and stories that tell your loved one’s life story.

A standard DocUmemories film includes 10 interviews as well as 5 video transfers and 30 static images, for a final run time of 30 minutes (additional interviews, media and time can be added for an additional fee). All media is edited together by our team to tell the subject’s story, celebrate their milestone event, and show how important they are to those around them.

DocUmemories interviews can be easily conducted digitally via Zoom; our premium package includes in-person interviews at our studio in Nutley, NJ. We are able to accept video and photo files both digitally and via physical mail, and can convert VHS, Betamax and Super-8 footage for an additional fee.
